  • About 40 Days Farm

Welcome to 40 Days Farm — a name rooted in more than just coincidence, but in the fingerprints of grace, purpose, and timing.

When we began our journey to find a piece of land to call our own, we had no idea just how significant the number 40 would become. At the time, we were both 40 years old, in a season of reflection and redirection. As we searched, prayed, and waited, doors opened in unexpected ways. The land we were led to? Exactly 40 acres. Around the same time, my grandfather passed away and left us $40,000 — a generous and unexpected gift that made taking the next step possible.

All of these “40s” felt more than coincidental. They felt like confirmation — like we were being led through our own 40-day wilderness, a time of preparation, transformation, and trust. In Scripture, 40 days often signifies a season of testing and growth before something new begins. For us, this farm became part of that journey — a place where we could dig deep, grow food, and nurture both the land and our faith.

But the story doesn’t stop at 40. For us, the hope lies in the 41st day — the day we enter into the fullness of God’s promises, the day we finally go home to be with Jesus. Until then, we’re planting seeds — of life, of hope, and of purpose — right here on this little patch of earth.

Thank you for being part of the story.

    With gratitude,
    The 40 Days Farm Family
